Shootout: Suspect Died Over $40 Of Booze
A spokesperson for the Idaho State Liquor Control Board has shed new light on what led up to a deadly shooting near Ponderay Monday afternoon. The spokesperson tells KREM 2's Erik Hedlund the suspect walked out of the liquor store in the Bonner Mall with $40 worth of booze. When the clerk confronted the man, he pulled out a wooden club and said "do you want some of this?". The clerk let the man go and called police, who followed the suspect's car out of the parking lot.
