Lewd Conduct Suspect Kills Himself

Update: Suspect allegedly fondled girl at Bayview Daze/SR

A Hayden man wanted in a lewd conduct case from last weekend has committed suicide, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff's Department. Local detectives were notified Thursday evening after Boundary County authorities recovered the body of Mickey Allan Watson, 56, of Hayden, from the Moyie River. Watson’s body was found by campers near the Twin Rivers Resort near Moyie Springs after he had apparently jumped off the Moyie River Bridge on State Highway 2. The bridge sits about about 425 feet above the river/Kootenai County sheriff's news release. More here.
