Money Magazine has come out with its list of the best places to live, in this case the “best small cities for families.” The surprise: Boise didn’t make the list, not anywhere in the top 100. Instead, the winner was Plymouth, Minn., followed by Fort Collins, Colo.; Naperville, Ill.; Irvine, Calif.; and Franklin Township, N.J. In fact, no city in Idaho, Oregon, or Montana made the top-100 list. Washington had just one, Bellevue at 42nd, while Orem (63rd) and Sandy (83rd) in Utah made the top 100/Betsy Russell, Eye On Boise. More here.
