Daily News: CDA Cell Phone Ban Will Fail Fail

The Coeur d'Alene School District is considering one of the most comprehensive bans on cell phone use by students in the state. It's a hard-core reaction to class disruptions, cheating and cyber bullying that would prohibit students from using electronic devices such as cell phones at any point during the school day. There might be some distinction that can be given by adopting the most stringent rules in the state. But what's the point if, even before the rule is adopted, no one thinks it will be enforced? The district superintendent doesn't think it's going to work, and school districts in other states that have tried to put the clamps on cell phone usage had to back off the regulations/Steve McClure, Moscow-Pullman Daily News. More here.

Question: Do you think a Coeur d'Alene School District cell phone ban will be too tough to enforce?
