Summer is pretty much the Season of Tragic Unintended Consequences anyway. Not only bears and bees but fireworks, ATV's, drunken boat operators, logging trucks with bad brakes, forgotten cases of dynamite and blasting caps left near abandoned silver mines off North Idaho hiking trails, mower blades breaking off and zipping through the air to decapitate some innocent pimply faced 14 year old mowin a lawn for marijuana money, and of course, old school slingblades wielded by insane but lovable lugs like Karl (of "Slingblade" fame in TUBOB video) up there. For years I would incur weird injuries and illnesses while on summer vacation - whiplash from a high speed rear-ending by a full logging truck near Forks, another neck injury from being blown off an exploding waverunner, injured shoulder last summer from a dirt bike crash, etc/TUBOB.
