National 'Gaurd': Evans, 73, is a woman on a mission. It began the day she buried her husband at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. Ralph Evans, a Navy veteran, died in 2002. The cemetery wasn't finished then, but veterans were being buried there. And a monument had already been erected in honor of all the branches of our armed services. It was the monument that launched Evans' mission. Specifically, a misspelled word on the monument. A misspelled word carved in stone/Tim Woodward, Idaho Statesman. More here.
