Crazy John: NI Bosses Are Skinflints

In general North Idaho employers are the biggest skinflints I've ever seen. They always argue that their wages are competitive. Competitive with what the other skinflint down the road? In the early 70's and 80's I had a trash hauling business. Most of my employees were minorities and they did a great job for me. They were paid accordingly, and felt good enough about their jobs that they threw a union organizer off our property, not once but several times. We provided full health coverage for them and their families and as an added bonus allowed them to purchase gas for their cars from our own gas tanks in the ground that we bought bulk from Chevron. As a conservative I'm all about personal resposibility and hard work, but requiring folks to work at minimum wage in today's economy is shameful/Crazy John. More here.

Question: Do you agree with Crazy John that North Idaho employers are skinflints?
