ShenelleK: Erring Hillary Right About ‘Village’

Hillary Clinton and I don’t get along too well. When we first crossed paths in 1991 I didn’t like her haircut and the fact that she encouraged her daughter to do ballet instead of basketball was just appalling to me. Then again I was 10 at the time and didn’t even know the word politician. The second time I recall hearing a lot about the First Lady was during the “Monicagate” scandal her husband got himself into. I didn’t like her then because she publicly forgave him took him back in. Even as a 16-year-old young woman I knew that if my boyfriend even kissed another girl I would kick him to the curb, school council president or not! And through the circus of her bid for the Democratic presidential candidate I wasn’t that fond of her campaign, even though I was proud that a woman was finally willing to “step up to the plate.” It wasn’t until just three weeks ago that I realized Hillary was absolutely right about one thing: it does take a village/Shenelle Kraack, St. Maries Gazette-Record. More here.

Question: Do you agree with Hillary Clinton and Shenelle Kraack that it takes a village to raise a child?
