Local Blogs — TUBOB Survive Upper Priest

Canoe camping on Upper Priest Lake was dreamy, narcotic, a lake of the Gods where even the few weekday powerboaters seemed insignificant and the water and sun and sand enveloped us in a bliss-state. I've never experienced a lake time like that. It was hard to leave/TUBOB. More here.

The show for the night was "Once Upon A Mattress" and none of us really had any idea about it except that it was based on the princess and the pea story. It turned out to be a whole lot of good, clean fun. From the obnoxious queen to the meek prince to the mute king to the lovable princess, every minute was completely entertaining. I knew from the second that we met the mote swimming Princess Winnifred that I would love her. And I did. At intermission I told the girls that we had to take her with us to dessert afterwards/A Butterfly Moment. More here.
