Hump Day Wild Card — 7/30/08
Something nice has been happening around here this month. HBO has attracted more than 10,000 -- 10,000! -- page-views for six of the last 12 weekdays. When I started this blog in February 2004, I had hoped to hit 1,000 PVs. Editor Steve Smith said at the time he'd be satisfied if I hit 2,000 someday. I was jazzed when I hit 5000 for the first time. Now, this. I once thought I'd take my marbles -- what's left of them -- and go home if/when HBO hit 10,000 on a non-election day. Now, HBO is doing it in the middle of summer. Which is usually the dead season for SR blogs. The new blogware will debut after Labor Day. So I'll stick around a little longer, if you don't mind. Now, for your Wild Card ...
