Iraq War Anniversary Wild Card — 3/19/08

I don’t know whether I’m better off today than I was 5 years ago. I’m older. But I’m still kicking, in relative good health. I don’t think this country is better off today than it was 5 years ago when it invaded Iraq. We’re still divided. Then, we’ve been divided for the last 16 years. Through two presidents. Lincoln once said: A nation divided against itself cannot stand. I wonder how much longer this country can stand if we continue on the current road? Mebbe that’s why the 2008 presidential election means something. It offers hope of a new direction. It would be nice to unite behind a leader again. Now, for your Iraq War Anniversary Wild Card …
