Ciaobino: I Hated Selling Girl Scout Cookies
I hated selling Girl Scout cookies when I was a kid; really, REALLY hated it. And that was back when we thought nothing of going door to door by ourselves. I'd sell my minimum requirement as quickly as I could and then spend the rest of the year dreading the next sale. So now I buy a couple of boxes - from the kids, never from the pushy parents at work - because I remember how hard it can be for a shy little girl to go up to total strangers, smile and put herself out there like that/Ciaobino.
Question: Did you dread selling cookies, candy, etc., as a kid for various school and organizational fund-raisers?
