Aftershock: Pennsylvanian Picks Coaster Name

Silverwood Theme Park received 6,136 entries for its coaster naming contest, but the winning suggestion came from someone residing over 2000 miles away. Richard Palamara, an 18 year old college student and coaster fanatic living in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, was the first person to submit the selected name: Aftershock. Palamara, who found out about the contest via an online coaster message board, has ridden a Giant Inverted Boomerang similar to Silverwood’s. “It was one of my favorite roller coaster experiences. So it’s especially cool for me to think that I’ve named one of them”/Silverwood News Release.
