Local experts at a foreclosure roundtable on Monday cautioned about businesses trying to take advantage of vulnerable homeowners worried about defaulting on their mortgages. On that note, Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden this morning announced a Florida-based foreclosure rescue company is banned from doing business in the Gem State. Mortgage Assistance Solutions LLC reached a settlement agreement with the attorney general prohibiting it from “advertising or engaging in any transaction involving an Idaho consumer or property in Idaho,” according to a news release/Parker Howell, Here’s The Dirt.
