Spencer: What Does It Mean To Be A Conservative?

How about not voting to allow 14 year old girls to be able to get an abortion without her parents consent or even knowledge? Senator Keough and Senator Broadsword voted with the Dems on that one. What about voting against pay for performance to give incentive to the teachers to do the best they can? Senator Keough and Senator Broadsword voted with the Dems on that one, even though Broadsword wrote in 2004 that she supported pay for performance. The legislation failed by two votes. What about English as the official language? Broadsword voted no. Should we fund pre-kindergarten for 4 year-olds? Shawn Keough voted that is a good way to spend the state tax dollars. So what is a conservative? Not some Republicans, if you look at how they vote/Spencer

Question: What do you think it means to be a conservative?
