Wild Card/Saturday — 3/29/08

I applaud the Zags and WSU Cougars for helping us get through another long winter in the Pacific Northwest. By lasting into the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament, WSU took us almost to the start of the 2008 Major League Baseball season. I’ve listened to future Hall of Famer Dave Niehaus and his sidekick, Rick, call play-by-play these last two evenings as I’ve walked around the neighborhood. The season starts for the M’s on Monday. Even the weather sounds nicer next week. We’ve almost made it. With that happy thought, it’s time to play the Wild Card …
