Dog parks can be really gross, they must be meticulously maintained. You have all those dogs and they wear out a patch of grass in a hurry so there can be a lot of mud. Trash cans tend to fill up with the most awful trash. Also the water can be sketchy. Your dog will run up and drink out of the rottenest-looking dog bowl you've ever seen, who knows, maybe after some puppy with parvo, with three or four other slobbering beasts. I like the idea of dog parks but it's worrisome having my dogs running around off-leash around a bunch of other dogs. I'd rather brave bears and perhaps firearms in the woods/Brent Andrews.
