‘Defending a wide stance requires a thick wallet’

That’s the headline on a Washington Post column today that notes that Idaho Sen. Larry Craig’s legal bills for his Minnesota airport sex sting arrest, guilty plea, and subsequent appeals have now climbed to $407,000, and he can no longer use campaign funds to pay them. Craig is continuing his court fight, pressing his case to the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Question: Is he right to keep up the court fight?
