The Kootenai County Board of Commissioners have declared a state of emergency in anticipation of flooding that will occur over the next several days in Kootenai County. Currently, high waters are not causing any problems other than low level farm fields in eastern Kootenai County/Capt. Ben Wolfinger, sheriff's news release. More here
