Update: Driver Dies In Cement Truck Crash

The driver of a cement truck who was trapped in the truck’s cab after it flipped over an embankment along Gould’s Landing near Mica Bay on Lake Coeur d’Alene has been pronounced dead. The driver had been unresponsive while crews tried to reach him throughout the morning. The driver of the truck died while pinned in the cab. The truck flipped upside down, trapping the man underneath the truck. Crews were using a front end loader from a nearby construction crew to try to lift the truck off of the driver/KREM2. More here
