Breaking! Boat Prop Cuts Off Wife's Arm

A man is in the Spokane County Jail charged with "assault by watercraft" on his wife. The boat propeller that severed a woman's arm accidentally on Newman Lake Wednesday night. Spokane County Sheriff's deputies told KREM 2 NEWS that 27-year-old Robert Kienel of Spokane was drinking with his wife, Alana Kienel, and a friend on his 20-foot Quantum Bow-Rider ski boat on Newman Lake Wednesday night. At about 5:15 p.m., deputies say Kienel was going about 30 mph in his boat when he made a hard turn while his wife was bow-riding in the front, dumping his wife into the lake whereupon the boat's prop cut off her left arm below the elbow. The limb apparently sank and has not been found/KREM2. More here
