KootCo Residential Value Down $500M

Kootenai County officials told colleague Erica Curless this afternoon that residential values are down a total of $500 million throughout the county — an average drop of 3% to 5% per household (although valuations on the east side of Lake Coeur d’Alene are up 2%, as a result of Gozzer Ranch subdivision). The county has no final numbers yet.
