Christie: NIC Trustees Don’t Play Politics

RE: Vieselmeyer is man of his own
Ron and I have vastly different view points and we acknowlege that often when we speak. The point I was trying to make is he has been very loyal to the GOP and he was sacked by the very people who encouraged him to run to “clean up the liberals at NIC.” Now that he is part of the Board I think he sees the college for what it is which is an institution of higher learning with quality, affordable education currently being utilized by over 10,000 students. The daily business at hand is a focus on quality programs, student achievement, and planning for future growth. The Board does not have the time or the desire to focus on GOP vs DEM/NIC Trustee Christie Wood.

Question: Do you view offices such as City Council, school board, road district, fire district, and North Idaho College as truly nonpartisan in the way the office holder conducts himself?
