Item: Ada County sees absentee ballot requests quadruple/KTVB

Dan of the County: I plan to put it in my future budget requests to mail an absentee ballot request form to all of our registered voters. Senator Goedde just sent out a large mailing of absentee ballot requests to his District and our mail room reports we already have possibly hundreds back in today's mail. I don't remember if Senator Goedde took a public position on the Clerks and Secretary of States bill to allow for local option vote by mail that was held in the legislature, but I found it interesting that he has a large full color logo on his mailing (in two places) that says "VOTE BY MAIL."

Question: Is it time for reluctant legislators to get with the trend and approve vote-by-mail in Idaho?
