KREM2: Lakeland Girls Settle In Face Paint Suit
A federal lawsuit between the Lakeland School District in North Idaho and two girls who say they suffered chemical burns when administrators removed paint from their faces has been settled. According to new filings in U.S. District Court in Coeur d'Alene, the girls will each receive $20,250, paid by the school district's insurance company/KREM2. More here. Slide show of injuries.
