City Attorney Mike Gridley tells Huckleberries that Sanders Beach homeowners are suing the state to revoke a 1982 encroachment permit that set aside the area in front of their places for swimming. No boats are allowed in the area. Attorney John Magnuson filed the suit for the homeowners. Who won a court battle to claim Sanders Beach as private property. But failed to win the right to own docks in front of their property in the swim area.
