Fischer: House R’s Are Heroes In Crisis

The only thing holding the Democrats back is that they want everybody in Congress to share the blame for this flameout. They cannot afford to have House Republicans shouting from the rooftops that the plan is a boondoggle, for fear that the House Republicans will soon be proved right, thus making everybody else in the room look really, really bad. House Republicans still believe the best solution is to inject private sector funds into the crisis by creating tax incentives - such as eliminating capital gains and income taxes on the purchase of any distressed assets – that will entice investors into the market. Every House Republican must stand for re-election in little more than a month. There is no way they want to go back to their home districts next week and face their constituents after hanging a $1 trillion dollar rubber tire around their necks/Bryan Fischer, IVA. More here.

Question: Could Bill Sali be right in opposing $700B bailout?
