A man about 45 to 50 years old, driing a mid-1980s model Jeep pickup with Idaho plates, is wanted on a rape charge by the Bonner County Sheriff’s Department. The rape occurred about 7 p.m. March 31 on Highway 2/200 near milepost 12, between Priest River and Laclede. The suspect (show in artist Cliff Custer’s adjoining rendering) is described as being 5-9 to 5-10 inches tall, 160-165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has letters or numbers tattoed across the knuckles (not fingers) on his left hand. He was driving a mid-1980s model Jeep Cheokee, which was colored oxidized gold or darker tan.
