At about 1 p.m. today, the Timberlake Fire Protection District was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Highway 95, just south of Silverwood. Firefighters arrived to find a 2008 Dodge Nitro fully involved. But the driver was safe. The driver reported that the transmission light went on and the vehicle started to loose power. She pulled to the side of the road and flames appeared from under the vehicle. More photos here.

  • 4:48 p.m. Post Falls parks workers report two males with suspicious items in their backpacks and holding machetes are walking up a Q'emlin Park trail.

  • 4:06 p.m. Resident of Collingwood Avenue/Post Falls reports that a drunken man keeps trespassing on his property. PFPD Blue responds that the man is known to be ornery.

  • 3:06 p.m. Suspect in possible earlier theft of manhole covers may be the person who is loading scrap metal into white Ford pickup @ Highway 53 & Idaho/Hauser area.
  • 2:47 p.m. Motorist reports following a female driver who was putting on makeup on Seltice Way
  • 1:46 p.m. Resident on Maple/Hayden reports that someone in a car across the road has been watching her house for 90 minutes
  • 1:07 p.m. 4-car crash has blocked i/s of Ramsey & Prairie. Possibility of 2 injuries.
