Simpleton: Would Jail Vote Pass Now?

Simpleton: I have a question for anyone smarter than me. If Brannon succeeds in overturning the election, does that also overturn the failed jail expansion proposition? Given the controversy over the Washington court allowing Mr. Clemmons out of custody, would anyone anticipate a different outcome here if there were a new vote on the jail?

Question: Would the outcome of the jail bond be different today, in wake of the senseless murders of the four police officers in western Washington?

No, the jail bond will fail again. People may be outraged by what happened, but when push comes to shove they vote with their wallet.

police officers weren’t killed because Seattle didn’t have enough jail cells…. or room at the inn…(jail), they were killed because a whacko was let loose without checking into his back ground (althought you would have thought his Washington actions were enough to keep him in)
the people know of the empty jail in Mt. and Or and don’t want to have one here I guess… maybe Kootenai County could send them to Oregon?
