ART: My Kingdom For A Phone!

My phone! My phone! My kingdom for my phone! If I had a kingdom… Or would it be a queendom, if I had one? Yesterday, in the midst of getting from my mom’s house to the airport to fly back to Spokane, I forgot to do a final “sweep” of the house to look for my belongings… and left my phone behind. My phone. That thing that is always with me - that I’ve never lost (unlike a bunch of people I know). I figured out what I’d done as we drove to the airport - soon enough to make plans with my mom to get it back to me, not soon enough to turn around and go back and fetch it/Beth Bollinger, Accidental Rabbit Trails. Last week! Drove out to an interview in the Valley and left it on my dryer.
At least I didn’t throw it in with the clothes.

I’ve yet to lose it. Granted most of the time I forget to bring it with me, but then it is in its spot on the recharging shelf so it is never lost.

It’s funny what we have become, people that can’t deal with anything without their phone. I have never had one, so I guess I must be something of an anomaly.

Haven’t lost it yet. It sits on the kitchen counter and thats it’s home. It doesn’t go for drives and sometimes when it rings I ignore it. Technology sometimes is a pain were a pill won’t reach.
