Question: Did your children ever react poorly when you took them to visit Santa Claus?

Our Santa, who is a professional Santa with an agent and all, comes to our house for dinner and a Bible study every week. So our little one was perfectly happy to sit for her picture with him and his lovely Mrs. Claus.

My favorite Santa story was when our middle son was about 3. He was a little worried and kept muttering to himself in line, “Buzz Lightyear, Buzz Lightyear.”
Either he didn't want forget his request or the mantra just soothed him.
He made it to Santa, grinned for the photo, and told Santa what he wanted for Christmas.
Santa's elf helped Alex down and gave him a candy cane. Alex stood there stunned, slowly a look of outrage crossed his face.
“A candy cane?” he hollered. “A candy cane? I asked for Buzz Lightyear!”
Seems he thought the mall Santa would provide instant delivery.

my grandson who was 3 at the time, screamed and cried. His mother tried and tried to calm him down, finally told the gal, take his picture ..crying an all… I will torment him when he is 25 with it…(he is 19 now)
He also did the same with Easter Bunny and Chucky Cheese mouse.
