    Hopefully someone wins.

Oh well. Hey, did anyone notice Tim Tebow crying like a little girl on the sidelines near the end of the Florida-Alabama game today? It gave me that odd feeling of deja vu.

Good God, we’re going to have a Tebow hate-fest because he cried. He should have just crashed his SUV into a fire-hydrant and tree because every Tebow-hater is going to bring this up everything in the next six months.

I can just see this happening next June…

“Hey dude, did you see Tebow cried, what a moron!”

Thanks Dingbat wearing a GU shirt and WSU hat. Meanwhile he’ll be making millions in the NFL and doing just fine. Oh and he probably goes down as the best college football player ever. Go back to your trailer and cry, Zoug fan.

And speaking of GU, nobody should be sad about this, Wake Forest is solid, and they’ll win some games this year.

Too subtle? Talk to the soccer girl.

Tebow greatest NCAA football player ever? I would argue you can make the same statement for at least 10 other players. One of my favorites, yes, definitely. I have no problem with him crying, as he wants to win more than just about ANY player EVER-see the post game interview of his lone loss last year and what he did to ignite his team. It was like something straight out of a movie.
Elias didn’t lose the game for us tonight but his foul led to a major reversal of momentum. A team loses a game in NCAA, even Chris Webber ala Michigan VS North Carolina for Nat Championship. Positives I take away is Bol Kong elevating his game with every minute he gets to play. I seriously think he could end up being the best 3 point shooting forward in the WCC by the time he is a senior. As homer as it sounds, I am not completely sold the fact that Harris had the intentions of his actions playing out like they did. I am fairly close with a few people in the GU Bball circle that will swear that he doesn’t have that kind of bone in his body. Would I say the same thing if I was a Wake Forest fan? Hell no. Bottome line, GU is a much more talented team than Wake Forest. This was only a good win for the ACC.
Zags have found ways to win by coming back late and that is not something they should feel comfortable with heading into conference play as San Diego, St. Mary’s and Portland can beat many a top 20 team in the nation on any given day.

While were on the subject of Tim Tebow:
Is he a medai darling? Yes. An extraordinarinly gifted young man deserving of such recognition? No doubt about it!
My two bits on Tebow from what I have observed to be the genuine truth:
    1. Seems like the ideal kid you would want your daughter to find in a husband
    2. Is a very exceptional athelete
    3. Is an exceptional athelete that wants nothing more than to see his TEAM excel and be successful
    4. Actually walks the walk and uses his blessings to help others under less fortunate circumstances
    5. Is determined, composed and has highly exceptional characteristics of a leader (see last year’s lone loss and how he responded and his team rallied behind him)
    6. Passionate individual-see #5

Am I a fan of the Floriday Gators? No, in fact I root for anyone playing an SEC team. BUT…I can’t argue that the kid seems like a remarkable human and deserving of all of his accomplishments. I hope he finds a team with an offense/coordinator that fits his talents at the next level.
Best college FB player ever? Arguable. Maybe, maybe not. Refreshing to see in today’s college/professional sports arena? Absolutely!

It wasn’t just the flagrant foul. There was a missed free throw in regulation that would have sealed it. there was a last few seconds three point attempt that went askew when a drive to the basket would have sufficed. There was enough blame to go around and I would hate to see the one player made the goat here.

Someone will always win, and then we will forget. Sports is such a moment thing.
