Huckleberries has learned that Kootenai County Demo chief Thom George and his wife, Melinda, 3948 Magnuson St., are hosting a fund-raiser for Councilman Mike Kennedy, to help defray legal expenses from Jim Brannon’s challenge. Walt Minnick will be the guest speaker at the event, which will take place from 10 to 11 Saturday morning. In a release to supporters, George said: “Bring along $20, $50, or $100 – whatever you can afford — as we will be passing the hat for Councilman Mike Kennedy — who is facing a legal challenge after this year’s election. If you can’t make it – you can donate online by visiting Councilman Kennedy’s website here.”

Since I can’t wait for OpenCDA to gush about this…
Here are my predictions for the postings…
1. Stubby — Something doesn’t add up. I heard they’re having a 70s key party with lots of porn.
2. Mary Full of Grace: Is Mike is raising money to help disadvantaged citizens who have lost their job due to corrupt political forces?
3. Gary Gangram: Or is Mike raising money to continue brainwashing efforts on disabled police officers?
4. Mary Full of Grace: Or is Mikey collecting money for his seven kids to attend private school.
5. Mr. Mullett: Under Idaho statutue, code, 6:12.909, Mike can’t raise money for a legal defense after the election has been certified.
6. Pyriah: They should call it Mikey’s Kids.
7. Bill McDorky: The Godfather requires a favor of you.
8. Mary Full of Grace: We know it’s Godmother, and it’s the mayor.
