  • Friday Poll: 48 of 92 — 52 percent — of the respondents predict that Sarah Palin’s visit to Coeur d’Alene Thursday will be met with protesters. 29 of 92 — 32 percent — don’t foresee any problems.

The days of people who remember such an event are dwindling fast, soon to be no more. It is a monumental event in our history, hopefully some remember such things. Most don’t, as most young people have a hard time remembering even Vietnam. As I have stated before, and one of my favorite t-shirts states, ‘ History will remember the war, but will America remember her men’. I doubt it.
