The sound of a lake freezing is just eery.

I liked Labrador’s response to Jorgenson’s press release. What we need back in Congress is a hothead who attacks the messenger when someone brings up something unflattering. I don’t want him to calmly respond or refuse to acknowledge the remarks at all. I want him to lob grenades! Use a little bombast! Draw some attention! Wait…didn’t we just get rid of Bill Sali for doing just that? Oh yeah, and rightly so.
Too bad Raul couldn’t come up with a more substantive reason why he thinks it’s important to defend people who are in this country illegally - people who, in some cases are wanted for human or drug smuggling, even murder. But when the facts weren’t on his side, he used the classic lawyer tactics of attacking the messenger and changing the subject.
I was hoping to hear his reasons why it’s important to keep the dregs of foreign societies here in the U.S. To think that the people of the 1st CD will give him a pass on this is a little arrogant, or naive. Maybe both.

What I like about frozen puddles, is that it smooths out the access road to my mobile home. Dry, it’s a shock buster.
