A video advertisement on CBS’s Web site that “mashes” material from the iconic “Frosty the
Snowman” Christmastime cartoon with two of the network’s comedy series is offensive and should be pulled, media analysts told FoxNews.com. The video ad, “Frosty the Inappropriate Snowman,” takes authentic dialogue from CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother” and “Two and a Half Men” and dubs it on top of the cartoon classic, changing well-known “Frosty” scenes to contain suggestions that the snowman and his friends visit a “strip club.” The mash-up also discusses Frosty’s “porn collection” and contains repeated mentions of prior sexual conquests/FoxNews.com. More here.
Question: A legitimate concern? Or much ado about nothing?

Well, since the video is no longer up then I guess we can’t pass judgement.
Burning books, anyone?

Burning books … get real! It is about showing a little class. No one is calling for government to “ban” anything. People criticizing garbage does not infringe on anyone’s first first amendment rights.
It is just another example of Hollywood’s attempts to tarnish anything that has tradition … even when that tradition is something for children.
If it is something considered sacred to others; Hollywood and the secular “oh-so” progressives want to “pornify” it.
It is senseless garbage; okay?

I’m thinking someone didn’t watch the video. If you watch the whole thing, they state at the end that some classics should be left alone. They admit that frosty is “sacred” and should not be mixed with other shows. The point of the clip was: Frosty is horrible when blended with How I Met Your Mother, so you should just watch the real thing.
