  • 5:07 p.m. Avista reports that 3 juveniles are walking on thin ice below the Post Falls Dam @ Falls Park.
  • 3:41 p.m. An unattended death is reported on Mullan Avenue/CdA. Man found on the floor may have died last night.
  • 3:39 p.m. NIC official Gayne Clifford wants security involving an incident in which witnesses saw someone keying a vehicle on campus.
  • 3:18 p.m. R/P in 3:13 items reports juveniles were blowing up pumpkins w/clear liquid in bottles.
  • 3:13 p.m. Juveniles in a black Nissan w/a camper were shooting off fireworks in an empty field @ Maple & Buckles/Hayden — and left a lot of debris behind.

  • 2:47 p.m. Resident of 5000 block of Stonehenge/CdA reports receiving an envelope w/suspicious powder inside.
  • 2:11 p.m. Motorist reports a trailing s/b vehicle of H41 is driving slowly on the shoulder.
  • 2:05 p.m. Something is hanging off the trailer of a semi, causing sparks to fly on H53 @ M/P 8.5 (Mill Street).
  • 1:41 p.m. Suspicious jar in 1:06 post turns out to be a science project.
  • 1:29 p.m. Ron from traffic control on the Fernan Lake Road project reports that bubblies are coming up from the Fernan Lake at a broken spot. He would like it checked out.
  • 1:08 p.m. The remnants of a llama can be found along the railroad tracks @ Clagstone & Brunner/Athol.
  • 1:06 p.m. A suspicious, broken jar w/battery connections, tubes, and piping is reported @ Hauser Mini Storage, 8651 Hauser Lake Road. It could be a homemade battery.
  • 12:41 p.m. Caller has questions re: a loose chicken.
  • 12:25 p.m. A male who has been sitting in a gray Mercedes since 8 a.m. @ 5th & Coeur d’Alene/CdA is now shaking.

      Alas. There probably should be a law against busy bodies with reports such as this, but as someone once said, “You can’t fix stupid.”

      Actually, I perused several chickens that were thoroughly captured yesterday. They were in the meat case at Super One. Bada boom!

      Last time I went to Fernan Lake it wasn’t broken. Maybe that guy Ron did it.

      21st and Walnut? I may have been gone for a while, but I don’t remember Walnut Avenue extending that far east…
