MamaJD: Sarah Palin’s Dude Hot, Too

Get Adobe Flash player

MamaJD: The former First Dude is of slight build, like a runner. He looks handsome in person. He is in the 5‘9 to 5”10 ish range. He was nice, warm and friendly. While he didn’t hog the limelight, he was present and participating. He greeted everyone immediately after Sarah Palin greeted them. He signed some books when asked.

DFO: MamaJD is fairly busy today after serving as part of the Sarah Palin entourage Thursday, at Fred Meyer in Coeur d’Alene and Vanderford’s in Sandpoint. She told me that she’d check in occasionally today to answer questions that you might have regarding her experience. If you do have questions, post them under this thread.

Great, another Palin post. I was starting to think the Palinberry blog was slipping.

For being so hated she sure gets a lot of press.

Ed Schaefer is kinda starting to grow on me in an odd sort of way, but is he really the best image for this headline? I suppose “hot” is a relative term…

One of my students brought a signed book for show and tell today.

Arpie: I hope you were suitably encouraging to the tyke.
No rolling of the eyes or loud groans? You didn’t lay your head on your desk and sob did you?

    Mama,
    1) Did you ride on the bus to Sandpoint?
    2) Did Ms Palin get to take potty breaks? (no disrespect intended…just thinking from my own perspective)
    3) Does she have to travel with her own security team or was it provided by local gendarmerie?
    4) Did you buy a book?

MamaJD - See if she, with all of her political swag, happens to know where Jimmy Hoffa is buried.

Arpie — I sum her up as gracious, charismatic, engaging and energetic. She seemed to be in a zone meeting/greeting/signing. She was unbelievable in her stamina for all the signatures. She smiled as brightly in the evening as she did in the morning as she was boarding the bus from the Resort. On page A11 in the CdA Press, she is pictured holding my pink sharpie as she signed one of my books. I spent 6 hours next to her in two locations yesterday. I never saw her frown, look tired, sigh from fatigue, or rest. Todd Palin was the same way. I also noticed that she spent extra amounts of time in Sandpoint for the students that interviewed her for a school assignment. It

Florined- I did not ride the bus. The bus was for family and close staff like security. I did not once see Sarah Palin stop the line in order to take a small break. Building and perimeter security was handled by local contractors & some police. Her close security detail was retired Secret Service who traveled with her on this book tour. He was a very nice gentleman who shared stories of his time closely guarding Bush 41. I did not purchase a book in Sandpoint as I brought my own three in purchased elsewhere. The Sandpoint book owner required that those in line must have purchased the book from his shop. I heard from those in line that they paid the full $28.99 in Sandpoint.

It should be noted: I did not state the Former First Dude looked “hot.” I think he looked handsome.

“of slight build, like a runner”

    Is this good or bad?

  • Stickman on December 11 at 5:30 p.m.

Thanks for your comments Mama, much appreciated.

  • MamaJD on December 11 at 5:42 p.m.

It’s neither good nor bad, Mike. I guess if I had to pick one, it would be good. He looked like he was in shape.
