All three of the regional college basketball teams — four, if you count Eastern Washington — won yesterday. Gonzaga broke a three-game losing streak in Seattle without injured Matt Bouldin by outlasting Davidson 103-92. No defensive struggle there. Meanwhile, you western Montanans out there are probably still celebrating the Grizzlies come-from-behind win against Appalachian State which sends them to the I-AA finals Friday against Villanova. Sports aside, we’re deep into the Christmas season. Sarah Palin’s come and gone. Which means we’ll have to find new stuff to discuss next week. We usually do. Now, for your Sunday Wild Card …

Five if you count our very own local Community College. The men’s & women’s basketball teams beat Snow College after losing to Salt Lake CC Friday.

Also - Gonzaga has a three-game losing streak? Not possible. They’ve only lost two games this season so far, and they were not consecutive losses. ???

We had a very picturesque experience this afternoon of walking with our dogs all around the middle channel of Twin Lakes. It just less than an inch of snow and is incredibly smooth. It’s quite the visual experience to take it in that way.
