Glenn Voshell, the teacher and coach who went missing Saturday while bird hunting west of Colton, was found dead this morning, according to Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers. One of the county search and rescue crews found Voshell’s body at 9:30 a.m. about a mile and a half from his truck, Myers said. Voshell, 45, was a teacher in Colton and former coach of the high school girl’s basketball team. Myers said he believes Voshell’s black Labrador retriever Jake has been found safe/Lewiston Tribune. What a tragedy.
I did a story on his daughter, Kirsi, a sophomore post at LCSC the other day. Very nice gal.
Sounds like this man will be missed by many.

Glenn was a great person, father and a great Man. I met him while working in the SWEET program for teachers. I have only been teaching for 2 years and he has helped me in many ways this year. I am also hoping that I will wake up and this will all just be a dream. I reach out to his kids and IF there is anything that I can do please ask. His kids ment everything to him. He talked about both his kids everytime that I talked to him. I received an email from him on Friday and he was telling me to find time for myself. I will miss his words of wisdom and long meaningful conversations.
