  • 4:58 p.m. A truck pulling 3 trailers on I-90 & M/P 24 (Big Cedar Creek) is so covered with snow and mud that it’s hard to see its headlights and taillights.
  • 4:36 p.m. Female reports that a male is throwing things and brandishing a knife at a female as the walk toward Safeway in the Neider/Government Way area. Update: Male told police that he threw his hat at the female and denied having a knife.
  • 3:17 p.m. Ace Hardware/Hayden reports that two males may be camping behind the store.
  • 3:16 p.m. A stop sign has been knocked down @ Prairie & Vantage/Hayden.

  • 2:42 p.m. Female reports her brother Steve and her nephew Chad didn’t meet at an appointed place in the Rose Creek Saddle at the appointed time after hunting.
  • 2:10 p.m. Neighbors on Vista Loop/CdA report a suspicious male in a vehicle looking into mailboxes.
  • 2:02 p.m. Post Falls police are looking for 15YO runaway Holly Brown. Details here.
  • 1:53 p.m. 11YO male runaway located in 100 block of South 10th.
  • 1:28 p.m. 3-vehicle crash in front of Kohl’s @ H95 & Aqua is blocking traffic.
  • 1:24 p.m. Officer asks dispatch to contact street department to replace the light pole that was knocked over in the 12:59 p.m. hit-and-run.
  • 1:13 p.m. A suspicious male is reported @ 16th & Sherman.
  • 12:59 p.m. Motorist reports that a red ‘99 Ford hit a light pole @ Buffalo Grass & Meyer/Rathdrum and then drove off. License number comes back to a Rathdrum man.
  • 12:45 p.m. A 25YO female slipped and hit her head near the hairdress academy on Coeur d’Alene.
