“Normally, I’d never drive out of my way to buy cheap gas because you pretty much burn what you save just to get there,” posts Staci Lehman/Kootenai MPO. “It’s only about 5 minutes out of my way to go to the gas station at Stateline though, where they were selling gas for $2.29 a gallon. That’s right folks! It’s a Monday Night Football promotion so don’t think you can go there and get that price today. But you could try next Monday.”
Question: Would you be willing to drive to Stateline for some $2.29-per-gallon gas as part of a “Monday Night Football” promotion? Or are you happy with the $2.39 gas in Coeur d’Alene? Do you find yourself driving more now that the price has gone down so low again?

Take your dog along and enjoy the wonderful off-leash park just down the road. Nice dogs and nice people there.

This must be old news already, I noticed about 3 places around town today for $2.29.
What I really wonder is when it will get back under 2 bucks a gallon…?

Why drive all that way when the Exxon at the 4th St. I-90 exit has the same price? They usually match Costco’s price, so Costco is probably 2.29 or 2.28 too.

The only bad thing about living in the toolies is that my gas up here in Bonners is 2.59 per gallon.
