You read it here first … Duane Hagadone’s “Sizzler” is the largest sailboat on Lake Coeur d’Alene and Fred Finney’s “Lady of the Lake” is the largest lake yacht, but there’s a new vessel being custom constructed right now in California that will be the biggest of them all. How spectacular is it? There’s even an elevator!/Councilwoman KerriT/Main Street. More here.
Question: Should there be a size limit for boats on North Idaho lakes?

Yes, little row boats.

You’ll know when your boat is too big for the lake when, upon putting it in the water, the lake level rises..

Actually there’s no “more” there on the subject of this new big boat coming to Lake CdA.

Size of the boat ( some should really be called ships)
is not the real problem. Excessive speed and BOI are.

As for what is too big… probably anything over 500 ft.
If you can swing the deal to buy it, it ain’t too big….
