7:38 a.m. Mountain West Bank @ Ironwood & Government Way was robbed this morning. A man approached an employee of the bank when she arrived for work and entered the building with here. She called police from her cell phone @ 6:53 a.m. KREM2 has more information here.

  • 11:19 a.m. Alan accidentally set off business alarm at his brother’s Dodge Construction on Coeur d’Alene Avenue. He doesn’t know how to turn alarm off.
  • 10:58 a.m. Female on Ezy Street left in a blue pickup after reportedly hitting a male w/a telephone. They were fighting over a child.
  • 10:56 a.m. Roberta at Hauser Mini Storage reports an abandoned trailer w/o plates.
  • 10:54 a.m. Female in KCSD lobby reports her ex-husband stole her vehicle.
  • 10:22 a.m. A female is suffering chest pains in Costco pharmacy.
  • 10:19 a.m. Tammy reports that a black Lab has been hanging out for a week on her Benewah Road/Harrison property.
  • 9:45 a.m. Residential burglary reported on 2300 block of 9th/CdA.
  • 9:32 a.m. 2 Huskies are running into traffic @ Highways 41 & 53, near Super 1/Rathdrum.
  • 9:28 a.m. Resident near Mellick & Euclid/Post Falls reports a stolen tree.
  • 9:21 a.m. 2 Huskies are chasing horses on Trails End/Rathdrum.
  • 8:23 a.m. A female not dressed for the weather is locked out of her house near the scene of this morning’s bank robbery.
  • 8:22 a.m. A CPD Blue has spotted a man crouched down in bushes near Auto Zone on Government Way. The officer reports he matches the description of this morning’s bank robber.

    Thieves of this sort should receive double time in jail when the crimes are committed in the weeks leading up to the most giving time of the year!

    Wait! There’s an Ezy street? I need to move there.

    Man, I hope the Lab doesn’t know about adverse possession laws, because he could end up owning Tammy’s place.
