Fort Boise: Mix And Match Religion

It was the "eastern" and "new age" beliefs that made it newsworthy, though. Well over half of those surveyed find something "other" to believe in, whether it's reincarnation, yoga as a spiritual practice, astrology, spiritual energy in mountains, trees or crystals, or that old-time favorite, the "evil eye." In a different direction, and on a different continent, the tiny seed of liberal religion has found some fertile soil; mostly as a result of Africans having contact with Unitarians in the US, but also by "Google-powered spiritual journeys"/Fort Boise.
