Teresa and I got married in a bar. A really really nice one…Beverly’s. We were hoping for an outside wedding at the Resort, but the weather was not cooperative. The staff at the Resort did an outstanding job, by the way.

Benewah County courthouse during our respective breaktimes. Wedding dinner at KFC in Coeur d’Alene that night with a jamocca shake from Arby’s.

The Academy, Vancouver, Wash. Big, late 1980s style wedding that turned into a huge alcohol-fueled party at the reception and continued late into the night at various clubs in Portland. By the time it all ended I had lost my shirt and tie but was still wearing my tuxedo jacket for the ride back over the bridge to Washington. The marriage didn’t last forever but it was one great wedding celebration. Days of wine and roses for sure.

Bree: I like the Higgins Point marriage. One of my favorite places, especially when the eagles are here. For me, it was Lanikai Beach on the island of Oahu. Where I grew up as a young boy wandering the beaches in search of something interesting. I will always consider that home. I was married on Christmas Day in the morning by my sister, who was a qualified preacher of sorts. The sunrise was amazing, so it sort of set the tone. I am still married to that woman to this day, and I am glad.
