Barack Obama sits on Kailua Beach in Kailua, Hawaii, last summer with his daughter Sasha.
For President Obama a white Christmas means sandy, white beaches. Click here for a guided tour of the first family’s vacation retreat.
Question: White snow or white sand for Christmas?

Sand, no question.

Snow, oddly enough. I grew up in Florida and have had enough of the sand.

That looks suspiciously like the Indian Ocean coastal beach in KENYA! If you look at the timestamp embedded in the photo, it was mighty DARK in Hawaii when it was taken. Someone’s got some ‘splainin’ to do.

We are thrilled to have Obama come back to Paradise Point Estates in Kailua. It is a BOOM to the economy and we need it!

Since I grew up on Kailua and Lanikai beaches, I would have to say sand.

Sand. Sigh.

I grew up a few miles from the beach but always wanted to go to the mountains. Here I am!

Oh to be warm on days like this. I love where I live, but I would trade it in a minute if someone would provide me with the funds to live where I grew up. The sand will always make me think of home.
