Forbes reports retailers aren’t slashing prices as much as last year, but there’s still good deals to be found.
Major retailers won’t be panicked into slashing post-Christmas prices as severely as they did last year, when they were caught off-guard by the credit crisis. But there should still be plenty of great deals out there.

You don’t have to. But shopping is a LOT more fun after Christmas than it is before :-)
