Update: Seattle at Green Bay Final Score: 48-10

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers leads the sixth-ranked offense in the NFL.

It has been a chorus of this Seahawks’ season, but even by Seattle’s standards Sunday’s loss was enormous and that’s saying something given the number of double-digit whuppings Seattle has been subjected to this season.

Seattle lost 48-10 at Green Bay, which was not only the largest loss this season but tied for second-largest margin of defeat in franchise history.

And as bad as that was, it was almost worse. Tight end John Carlson’s 16-yard touchdown catch with 4:15 left saved a little bit of face in a game when it was tough to find anything to salvage.

It’s hard to believe the Seahawks were in the Super Bowl just 4 years ago. They’ve had injuries to Hasselback and their former all-pro running back, who is no longer in the league. I hope they rebound next year.

IMO, the Seahawks have learned to accept loosing, there is always some excuse. If I were the owner and I’m not, there would be a lot of changes, coaches, Qb, etc. Thankfully, we have the Mariners to look forward to, maybe.

I gave up on the Seahawks a long time ago. Had season tickets for several years. I’m using the Arizona Cardinals as my team of choice, and the one I follow now.

this was the WORSE game I saw.. it was like looking at a train wreck, you find yourself watching it anyway… I have watched the Seahawk for years, yes, i know they lose most of the times over the years…but this had to go as the worse one yet… it sure was a paper bag over the head for the fans who were there.

Something doesn’t seem to be quite right with Mr. Hasselback. The way he was throwing INTs brought back unhappy memories of Favre’s nadir.

Sorry about your Washington team, but my Packers made it to the playoffs, so it was a Good Day.

As for Huckleberries… I’m glad I tuned in BEFORE the game and was reminded to stay away from the site AND its RSS feed until after I’d seen the game at my own DVR’d pace. (Once you’ve watched a football game without the absurd filler, it’s hard to go back.)

PLEASE DO NOT PUT SPOILERS IN YOUR RSS FEED (which means in your headlines, during a decent interval).

In tonite’s Monday Night Football game, Brett Favre was a HERO, but his team, the Minnesota Vikings, absolutely blew it on defense several times. No way can Favre be accused of losing this game. I’ll root for the Vikings in the playoffs & Super Bowl, if they get that far.
